Yixuan Cao 曹弈轩

I am a Ph.D. student at Nanjing University, advised by Prof. Yanyan Jiang. My research broadly focuses on software systems. As intelligent agents become active participants in software development and maintenance, I am interested in how they can understand, reason about, and evolve complex software systems, enabling more reliable and efficient software engineering.

Previously, I received my B.S. and M.S. degrees from Shenzhen University, advised by Prof. Yuhong Feng and Prof. Xu Wang. My previous work focused on system software, security, and software reliability. I have contributed to the Linux kernel and LLVM communities, including enhancements to page_owner and AddressSanitizer. I have also discovered and disclosed previously unknown vulnerabilities in open-source software. Additionally, I was selected as a Huawei Developer Advocate in 2024 and a Huawei Cloud Student Developers Campus Ambassador in 2025.
